If this describes you, please continue reading!THE ROLEAs the Director, Sponsorship Sales, you will focus on developing, selling, and executing sponsorship programs for Live Nation Canada. We seek a client-centric, sales leader passionate about building outstanding partner programs to join our team and support our growth trajectory.WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOLead the sponsorship sales team to meet revenue targets.Seek and engage new prospects for live entertainment sponsorships, developing customized, innovative proposals demonstrating insight into client businesses and the music industry.Lead presentations to prospects and negotiate sponsorship packages.Manage sponsorship discussions from initial contact to closing.Track and report on pipeline progression.Balance priorities to meet national and regional/festival sponsorship goals.Lead renewal processes, including negotiations and legal procedures.Manage client expectations with honesty and integrity.Maintain relationships with current sponsors, industry contacts, and prospects.Use insights and analysis to drive results.Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering personal development.Provide thought leadership during sponsorship conceptualization and delivery, setting standards for creativity and strategy.Deeply understand sponsors' businesses and markets to meet objectives.Identify and resolve critical issues proactively, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING7-10+ years of success in sponsorship/media sales, strategy, or marketing roles.Creative, organized, and visionary leader driven to deliver innovative marketing solutions.Proven success in leading sales teams.Postgraduate degree or diploma in a business-related field preferred.Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel.Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.Experience managing budgets.Curiosity about consumer and cultural trends.Understanding of new media and digital platforms.Strategic thinker with executional ability.Ability to build relationships inside and outside the organization.Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Self-starter with minimal supervision.Responsive to client satisfaction.Availability to work events during evenings and weekends.BENEFITS & PERKSOur benefits are based on six pillars:Health: Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee Assistance Programs.Self: Paid time off, holiday closures, sick leave, free concert tickets.Wealth: RRSP with company match, Stock Reimbursement.Family: Parental programs, caregiver leave, infertility support.Career: Tuition reimbursement, growth programs, training.Others: Volunteer leave, crowdfunding, gender reassignment support.We thank all applicants.
