Applies the requirements of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to promote compliance with Ledcor HS&E standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes with all employees and subcontractors.Creates and/or facilitates the Project Quality Program to ensure project materials are supplied and work is completed accordingly.Ensures projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and building codes, maintaining quality standards.Develops and maintains the construction schedule in conjunction with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates.Leads project meetings with stakeholders to monitor and support project progression.Provides strong leadership to construction team members, leveraging individual and group strengths to achieve project targets.Identifies and manages opportunities and risks to optimize schedule and financial outcomes.Maintains, tracks, and reports all financial aspects of the project, including forecasts and billings.Manages procurement processes, including negotiations and awards to subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.Qualifications:10+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager on complex commercial or industrial construction projects; experience with hospitals, aircraft hangars, or aviation warehousing is preferred.Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related fields is an asset.Experience managing construction projects valued at $80M+.Knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, costs, budgets, and current practices.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and interpret needs.Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and consider wider implications.Anticipates constructability issues and develops solutions in planning and scheduling.Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others.Proven leadership in team building, mentoring, and conflict resolution.Valid drivers license required.Working Conditions:Site-based roleRelocation assistance available for non-local applicants#LI-NC1#LI-OnsiteAdditional InformationLedcor Building offers full-service construction across various sectors, with expertise in green building.
