Job Description Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Product Manager (Perception edge platform) will collaborate with engineering teams to define and execute the product roadmap for our embedded platform and AI applications on camera and appliance hardware. This role is key in shaping the future of on-device AI analytics, ensuring seamless hardware-software integration, and optimizing real-time video intelligence at the edge, as well as cloud integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of embedded systems, video analytics, and edge computing. You will work closely with engineering, business development, sales, and marketing teams to drive innovation and market success for our embedded AI platform. Key Responsibilities: Market & Strategy Identify and validate market needs for embedded AI video analytics through research and stakeholder engagement. Represent the customers voice within the organization, ensuring product development aligns with real-world use cases. Understand the competitive landscape and identify key differentiators for our AI platform. Develop business cases for new AI capabilities and align stakeholders. Product Roadmap & Vision Create and maintain the embedded IoT platform and AI product roadmap aligned with business and technological goals. Coordinate with engineering, R&D, and hardware teams to execute the roadmap. Set performance benchmarks and scalability considerations for AI workloads on embedded platforms. Product Lifecycle Management Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond. Prioritize AI model deployment, optimizing compute efficiency and inference performance. Monitor product performance metrics and drive improvements. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years in embedded software product management, ideally in AI video analytics, IoT, or edge computing. Experience with AI/machine learning technologies preferred. Knowledge of AI concepts, GPUs, TPUs, hardware acceleration, and embedded Linux. Ability to discuss technical aspects with engineering teams and guide product development. Strong analytical skills, understanding of AI performance metrics, real-time video processing, and inference optimization. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in video security or IoT devices is desirable. Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills. Target Base Salary Range: $75,700 - $155,200 CAD Note: Candidate must reside in the Canada Central or Eastern Time Zone. Basic Requirements Bachelors degree with 5+ years of product management experience.
