The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, keen attention to detail, and a dedication to high-quality service.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily warehouse activities such as receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping.Lead and train warehouse team members, conduct performance reviews.Develop and implement efficient processes to boost productivity and accuracy.Ensure safety compliance and maintain an organized work environment.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain stock.Prepare and manage shipping and receiving documentation.Collaborate with sales and customer service to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve shipping issues.Optimize shipping methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.Conduct regular audits to identify improvement opportunities.Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies in warehouse management.IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?Requirements:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.1-2 years of experience in warehouse management, shipping, or logistics.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office.Knowledge of shipping regulations and best practices.Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).Strong verbal and written communication skills.ABOUT USCertainTeed, a North American leader in sustainable building materials, is committed to improving lives and the environment.
