If you are excited about solving game-changing challenges, cutting edge technologies, and pushing the boundaries of entertainment, we invite you to join our journey and help us create the unknown.ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionLiaise with Cinematic Animators and Technical Teams: Act as the first point of contact for cinematic animation teams, support their needs, troubleshoot issues, and escalate requests as necessary.Support Animator Development: Enhance the confidence and knowledge of cinematic animators regarding scene assembly and integrating to game engine.Tool Development: Create simple tools to streamline and improve the efficiency of workflows and processes.Standardize Work Methods: Collaborate with the Technical Director (TD) to define optimal work methods, ensuring data validity and integrity.Documentation and Training: Draft and regularly update technical process documents (pipeline), establish a common nomenclature, train users, and remind team members of technical constraints and their rationale.Technical Validation: Validate data produced by the department or team, support technical team members in resolving issues, and raise current and future technical concerns with Technical Management, recommending solutions.Optimization and Debugging: Follow up on optimization and debugging efforts by the technical team to resolve identified problems.Perform all other related tasks.QualificationsWhat you bringExtensive experience with DCC tools such as Motion Builder, Maya, and 3DS MAX.Excellent understanding of video game engines.Good knowledge and experience with Python.Comfortable with writing technical documentation.Familiarity with the Motion Capture process.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to animators and production.Animation or Rigging background preferred.Experience5+ years of experience2 years of experience as Associate TD or equivalent preferredAdditional InformationCharles-Antoine and Marie, our talent acquisition specialists, will analyze your application.
