Deadline to Apply: May 26, 2025 at 5:00pm Role Overview The YMCA of Greater Toronto is seeking a Programs Director to lead adult programs at the West End YMCA. Reporting to the General Manager, this role involves leadership in program development, staff supervision, budget management, and community engagement to promote health and wellness among members. Responsibilities Plan, promote, and implement all adult programs, including Group Fitness, Personal Training, and Adult Recreation Sports. Ensure high-quality program delivery, meet standards, and conduct evaluations. Lead and supervise staff and volunteers, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Develop and monitor departmental budget and meet fiscal goals. Lead the Aquafit program and recruit volunteers for fitness classes. Participate in strategic initiatives and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, or related field. Group Fitness and/or Personal Training certification. 2-3 years of supervisory experience in health and fitness. Experience in staff training, volunteer recruitment, and program management. Current NLS Certification is an asset. Proficiency with CRM applications and computer software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
