MSc (possibly PhD) Position in Quantum Physics Universit de MonctonProject:Characterizing Quantum States via Non-Invasive MeasurementsTheQuantum Phonics Groupat the Universit de Moncton (largest Francophone university in Canada outside of Quebec), led by Dr.Lambert Giner, is seeking a motivated graduate student (MSc) to join a research project focused on novel techniques for characterizing quantum states without disturbing them.Essential RequirementsBachelor of Science in Physics is an asset(or international equivalent)Applicants with degrees in Mathematics or Engineering will also be considered if they have successfully completed key physics courses (Quantum Mechanics, Optics, Electromagnetism, Experimental Physics)Language Requirements French proficiency is mandatory.Applicants must specify how they meet or intend to meet the language requirement.Additional Desired SkillsAbility to communicate in EnglishExperience in free-space or integrated optics (e.g., internships or lab work)Programming experience in C#, Python, or MATLAB, demonstrated through coursework or projectsFunding and Support The selected candidate will receive the standard MSc stipend from Dr.Giners research grants, supplemented by a teaching assistantship.
