Applicants from these equity-priority groups may self-identify in their application.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESWorks collaboratively with internal stakeholders completing day-to-day HR operational work in recruitment, onboarding, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee engagement, workforce planning, leaves of absence, accommodations, and scheduling;Lead benefits management, performance reviews, compensation research, vacation planning, HR policy revisions, health and wellness, equity, diversity and inclusion programs;Accountable for data entry and integrity of all HR systems, tools, files, and documentation;Generate and share data-driven insights to increase HR team efficiency; andAs a member of the leadership team, provide recommendations to support business objectives and responsible for one direct report overseeing the professional support staff.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSFive+ years of education and/or experience in HR or related field, CPHR designation is preferred;Current and continuing knowledge of legislative compliance with respect to relevant employment, labour, and health & safety legislation as well as promising practices and trends in the field of HR;Ability to maintain a high degree of professional judgment, confidentiality, tact, diplomacy, and discretion at all times;Prior experience in a dynamic, complex, and nuanced Professional Services environment would be considered an assetA detailed job description is available upon request.Please submit a resume and covering letter to:Jillian Gorbold, Director of Professional TalentNova Centre South Tower1500 1625 Grafton Street, Halifax, NS, B3J 0E8Direct (902) thank all candidates for their interest in Cox & Palmer; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
