This Legal Counsel role will report to the Managing Legal Counsel in the Liquids Pipelines & Corporate Law group of Enbridges Law Department, and will be a member of the Major Transactions group, a small group of inhouse lawyers who provide legal support to (i) Enbridges Corporate Development Office, (ii) Business Development (BD) Group(s) at Enbridges various business units, and (iii) other Enbridge functional departments in connection with corporate or commercial matters. This position is located at Enbridges Calgary, Edmonton or Houston offices.Particular focus of this position will be on matters related to commercial transactions, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and JVs, including assisting in structuring transactions and conducting due diligence, and providing legal support with drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and interpreting related contracts. This position will also provide legal support with respect to antitrust/competition laws in connection with M&A transactions and BD projects.
