You will promote and provide a positive work environment, relevant feedback, communication to employees and families, proper nutrition, and plan daily activities.Working with the Centre Director, you will overall be accountable for the management of daily operations, overseeing and leading the work of all staff at the childcare center and business results for the centre and operate in a professional manner and ensure quality standards are being met.What will you do?Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the centre such as marketing and people managementOperate in a professional manner and ensure Kepler standards are being met and compliance is always maintainedProvide oversight and direction to the employees in the centreCoach, mentor, and develop staff, including new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunitiesConsciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organizationProvide effective performance feedbackMaintain employee work schedulesEnsure strong relationships developed with families with regular ongoing communicationBe part of the community to build strong partnershipsMaintain transparent communicationYou will possess the following:Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a department and department staff membersProven leadership in promoting a positive workforce environmentStrong work ethicExcellent organization and time management skillsExcellent written and spoken communication skillsComputer literacy: strong skills in Microsoft Office and ability to learn other systemsSolid knowledge & understanding of the Provincial Child Care RegulationsBusiness knowledge of basic economics, budgeting, accounting principles and practices is necessaryRequired Qualifications to Work at Kepler Academy:A minimum of 3 years Early Childhood experience in the Childcare industryA minimum of one (1) year in a management role is an asset but not requiredPostsecondary education in a business-related field, or experience with finances and budgeting would be an assetChild Development Supervisor Certificate (two-year Diploma in Early Childhood Development or equivalent education from a college approved in line with Child Care Regulations)Standard First Aid certificateCurrent criminal record check, including vulnerable sector searchDo you not meet the minimum requirements?
