They perform incoming inspections and ensure medical equipment and devices comply with regulatory standards and requirements, including safety regulations and quality control measures. They provide support for clinical users to address equipment-related issues and support patient care. Biomedical technologists assist with evaluation, installation and implementation of new medical equipment, devices and technologies. They stay updated on advances in medical technology and participate in various training sessions and development activities aimed at improving existing medical equipment or developing new technologies.
