Description: Week-long block of work from Monday 0800 to Monday 0800 Pick your availability for any week Choose one week or several Average of 18-22 patients a day Support: Shared coverage of all hospital in-patients with a second Hospitalist (excluding the ICU which is covered by Internists and Surgeons) We can pair you with a local physician who is familiar with our EMR and can provide support Local consults are provided by General Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Urology, GP Anaesthesia, GP OB and Palliative Care Psychiatry support is available in the region, mainly from colleagues in Orillia Orthopedics support is available in Barrie, Orillia and Collingwood On-site laboratory services, CT, Ultrasound, ECHO, X-Ray, Mammography, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Therapy, Dialysis, Chemotherapy On-Call: Evening call may require coverage of OR Assist Remuneration: Fee for Service (Projected $8,000 to $10,000 +) HOCC stipend of $550 a day.
