These facilities opened in the fall of 2017 and medical imaging services at both hospitals include: general x-ray, two fixed MRI, on-site CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, and interventional procedures, all within a fully functional PACS environment. Additionally, at the Comox Valley Hospital, there is nuclear medicine service. Eligible candidates must hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Radiology and full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. The position includes CT, MRI, US, DR, Fluoroscopy procedures, breast imaging, and basic non-vascular interventional procedures. The successful candidate may elect to reside in either Campbell River or Comox. Start date: as soon as possible. Compensation and Benefits May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidy agreement (RSA) including: Recruitment Incentive: up to a maximum of $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE) Relocation: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from) Fee Premium: 6.93% Annual Flat Fee: $10,739.52 CME payments of $3000 in years 3 and 4 and $6000 after 4 years.
