Join to apply for the Clinical Educator role at Bayshore HealthCare Base pay range CA$70,000.00/yr - CA$100,000.00/yr Workplace: Onsite Clinic The Clinical Educator, under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services, will act as a clinician, educator, and researcher to support the Qikiqtani Hospital (QGH) in Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada, through Bayshore Northern Staffing Division. The incumbent will develop and deliver quality education and services, ensuring compliance with professional practice standards. Responsibilities include outlining, developing, and implementing clinical activities and service delivery, and supporting clinical education objectives outlined by the QGH Director of Clinical Program and the Government of Nunavut-Health Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The role also involves maintaining quality assurance and fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders in daily clinical education activities. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the clinical nurse education team at Qikiqtani Hospital and support the Government of Nunavut nursing resource team. Assign and recruit interim education leads for high-priority education areas such as obstetrics and central monitoring programs. Standardize and operationalize onboarding processes for various programs and areas, including emergency and inpatient units. Establish external partnerships in obstetrics, critical care, pediatrics, and mental health. Enhance clinical staff knowledge, skills, and confidence to promote safety and improve staffing and retention outcomes. Work on a minimum 4-6 week in-territory rotation in Nunavut, with potential for out-of-territory work as decided by QGH leadership and GN CNO. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a BScN or a Master''s in a health-related field (e.g., nurse practitioner in primary care); Masters in progress may be considered if combined with relevant skills and experience. 5-7 years of professional/healthcare experience, including 3-5 years as a Community Health Nurse. Current registration with a Canadian Provincial/Territorial nursing regulatory body. Experience in developing community-based care and client teaching programs; knowledge of research application and theoretical frameworks. Strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, effective communication, and basic clinical analysis and informatics competencies.
