Our client manufactures pumps and is looking for a sales rep in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to sell into the contractor and building services space. You will be developing new business, taking care of existing customers and developing relationships with engineering firms.Territory: Greater Toronto and Ottawa areaWorkplace: Work from home (located in GTA area)Products/Services: PumpsSalary: Base $70,000-$75,000Commissions/Bonus: 25% bonus (paid twice a year)Car allowance: $1,000 monthlyExpenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursedOther Benefits:RRSP9 personal days2 sick days3 weeks vacationhealth insurancedental insurancelife insuranceLTDSTDOpportunity to overachieve on bonus Functions:Develop and implement a territory sales plan aligned with regional goals and revenue targets.Proactively identify new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and market intelligence.Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.Promote our products designed for construction applications, including domestic water supply, HVAC systems, sump and sewage systems, and booster systems.Prepare and deliver technical quotations and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams.Participate in contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies and commercial terms.Requirements:Development vs Maintenance: 60% vs 40%Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%Languages: Excellent written and spoken EnglishEducation: Technical diploma or bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.Training: On the job training providedOvernight Travel: Up to 10% overnight travel requiredYears of experience: 3 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in pumps, fluid handling systems or mechanical equipment.Other requirements:Transferable contacts: Contacts within the building and contractor industry is an assetTransferable Knowledge: Knowledge of pumps and/or fluid handling is an asset
