They are looking for a Technical Sales Representative located in Maple Ridge.Responsibilities: Maintain working relationships with existing customers to ensure they receive exceptional service and support when they submit an enquiryAssist our customers through a consultative sales process to ensure we provide the customer with the correct solutions by utilizing technical acumen of the company's solutionsPartners with technical solutioning team members to determine technical requirements and considerationsCreate quotes and orders, coordinate with production team and shipping team to ensure our customers have a positive and seamless experienceUse consultative sales skills to identify future sales opportunitiesQualify incoming calls to prospect for further sales opportunitiesSupport regional Business Development ManagersConsistent use of Salesforce/Epicor for recording customer transactions, correspondence, and future opportunities pipelineWork within framework of our quality management system ISO 9001Other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:2+ years of experience in Inside Sales, or related sales experience in client/customer serviceDiploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering, or Civil Technology would be an assetPrevious experience in inside sales, or related sales experienceExperience with Salesforce.com CRM systemExperience in Civil Construction Market would be an assetFamiliarity with Public Tender Process would be an assetMarketing experience would be an assetExperience with Epicor ERP Systems or similar ERP SoftwareProven ability in maintaining positive customer relations, networking, and account strategy managementExperience working independently, as well as in collaboration with team membersStrong Organizational and Time-Management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and work autonomouslyGood judgment coupled with the ability to set clear expectations to distributors and customers and make sound decisions
