We work across functions - R&D, brand, sales, operations, people, and more - to create something new and enduring.If you want to shape a company and a category, we want to meet you.THE ROLEWip is seeking a Senior Scientist, Analytical Chemistry to join our cutting-edge R&D team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead development and qualification of analytical chemistry methods within R&D laboratory.Support testing of new prototypes and commercial products.Recruit and manage team of analytical chemistry research associates.Write necessary Standard Operating Procedures and reports.Determine appropriate lab equipment/instrumentation.Assist with budgeting and resource allocation for R&D team.QUALIFICATIONSBS or MS degree in chemistry or related field required.5+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals or related field required, 10+ years preferred.Chromatography experience (HPLC and GC) required. Good communication and writing skills required.Experience in cGMP environments strongly preferred.Knowledge of characterization of powders preferred.Experience in managing teams and/or planning and building laboratories a plus.
