Job Title: Geotechnical Manager Location: Markham, ON Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $100,000 $120,000 annually Start Date: ASAPOverview: Our client is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of managerial-level experience, with a strong background in geotechnical engineering and proven leadership skills. This role is office and site-based and offers full-time hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Key Responsibilities:Perform conventional aspects of geotechnical engineering, including analysis and report preparation.Conduct soil sample examination, testing, and borehole log review.Apply expertise in soil mechanics and foundation engineering design.Lead site investigations, in situ/lab testing, and reporting activities.Ensure quality in design packages and deliverables within time and budget.Prepare proposals, work plans, and budgets while maintaining client communication.Mentor and coach junior team members.Oversee project costing, billing, and profitability forecasts.Travel to project sites as required.Independently manage all technical and operational aspects of projects.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience at a managerial level in geotechnical engineering.Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and project management capabilities.Benefits:Free parkingLife insuranceDental and medical health benefitsWe are proud to support the full inclusion of persons with disabilities as set out in the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.
