The ideal candidate will be an experienced and driven sales professional capable of collaborating with a range of stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesFunctions as the business leader of the location's catering sales department, managing the reactive catering sales efforts to maximize revenue.Ensure smooth transition and communication with location partner teams to execute positive client experiences.Partner with location leadership to identify growth opportunities via sales trends, strategic menu development, and new catering initiatives.Collaborate with building partners for mutually beneficial opportunities.Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives.Conduct annual reviews of sales performance, market analysis, and lost business to identify areas for improvement.Analyze sales trends and client needs to enhance event experiences.Engage in networking and lead generation activities.Increase revenues, control expenses, and ensure ROI for the location.Respond promptly to client inquiries, develop proposals, and follow up to secure business.Negotiate contracts with clients, balancing revenue goals with client satisfaction.Work closely with culinary and operations teams to develop menus and staffing for events.Conduct venue tours for prospective clients and create banquet event orders (BEOs) and catering agreements.Long DescriptionCoordinate with venue or clients to create floorplans and submit to authorities as needed.Manage client relationships to set expectations and ensure positive experiences.Handle billing processes for deposits and final payments.Follow up with clients for feedback and future business opportunities.Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a positive work environment.Attend management meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to fulfill contracts.Manage event communications, including event files, schedules, and BEOs.Facilitate weekly BEO meetings with operations and culinary teams.Gather operational feedback for event recap documentation.Maintain CRM system for current and potential clients.Ensure event setups match BEOs and maintain system processes.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills and Experience5+ years in a Catering Sales role.Hospitality or Business Degree preferred.Experience with major events preferred.High computer literacy.Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Levy is an equal opportunity employer, committed to fair treatment and diversity.
