A leading Canadian transportation company is hiring a Safety, Security & Environment Advisor. This organization is a key player in international trade and presents a compelling opportunity to influence the health, safety, and security landscape within a well-established and collaborative organization. The Role: As a key member of the Safety, Security & Environment team, youll help drive a culture of safety through proactive leadership, risk reduction, and continuous improvement. Youll take the lead on incident investigations, hazard assessments, inspections, training coordination, data reporting, and stakeholder engagement, with a primary focus on workplace safety, while also supporting security and environmental compliance. Responsibilities: Conduct root cause investigations and lead corrective action plans. Coordinate and lead job hazard assessments, inspections, and site audits. Maintain and analyze safety data to identify trends and reduce incidents. Facilitate H&S committee operations, safety training, and learning opportunities across diverse workgroups. Qualifications: 35 years of experience in safety, security, and/or environmental roles. Strong command of safety regulations, hazard assessments, and audit processes. Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle. Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation is an asset.
