What Youll Bring: Executive-level presence with strong leadership and influencing skills Proven ability to assess risk appetite and guide strategic decisions, not just flag concerns A collaborative approach that fosters trust and drives alignment across teams and stakeholders Political and organizational savvy to navigate public-sector complexity and deliver results Deep knowledge of information security, with credentials such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA Deep expertise in shaping and implementing security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF) Track record of building and leading cross-functional security councils or risk committees Demonstrated success in aligning security investments to organizational strategy and ROI Understanding of identity management, healthcare system integration, and public-sector governance Experience working with or reporting to boards and executive leadership This is a senior leadership role for someone whos not only technically sharp but also a big-picture thinker.
