Human Resource Director (HRD) Position Summary This role will lead the Human Resources (HR) function for the Dealer Portfolio of Perseus. This HR Director (HRD) will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with the Dealer Portfolios mission and goals. The HRD will collaborate with the Corporate HR Team to understand and apply corporate policies and practices, tailoring them to meet the needs of the Dealer Portfolio. They will anticipate HR implications of business initiatives, providing strategic advice and help ensure successful execution while maintaining alignment with corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong judgment and flexibility. They will mentor other HR team members within the Dealer Portfolio and serve as the first point of escalation for HR-related issues. Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Portfolio President and leadership team, aligning HR practices with business objectives. M&A Integration: Lead HR due diligence, cultural integration, and talent alignment for new acquisitions. Talent & Leadership Development: Build and implement programs for succession planning, high-potential employee development, and executive coaching. Organizational Design & Change: Support organizational scaling and change initiatives to align with growth goals. Employee Engagement & Culture: Promote a strong, unified culture and lead engagement initiatives across the portfolio. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to employment laws and oversee HR compliance and audit requirements. HR Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a geographically distributed HR team including talent acquisition, generalists, and business partners. Performance & Metrics: Establish and track key HR metrics to inform decisions and improve outcomes. Corporate Alignment: Ensure consistency and alignment with broader corporate HR policies and initiatives. Qualifications: 10-15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in decentralized, fast-paced environments. Proven experience supporting M&A HR integration and post-acquisition planning. Track record in strategic workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational growth. Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian labor laws. Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and change management skills. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and data-driven decision-making. BA/BS in HR, Business, or a related field; HR certification a plus. Able to travel 10-20% globally Business Unit: Dealer Portfolio Salary Range: The estimated base salary range for this role in Canada is $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors. Other Compensation: This role will also be eligible for participation in a Company profit sharing bonus plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.
