Surrey Hospitals Foundation is the largest non-government funder of health care for families in Surrey and the surrounding Fraser Valley communities. Thanks to the generosity of donors, they help fund major health facilities including Surrey Memorial Hospital and the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre. They also support the Czorny Alzheimer Centre, along with many community programs for all ages. Their Surrey health care campus provides comprehensive health services from birth to end-of-life. Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will provide strategic leadership for the Foundations financial management. They will collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to support SHFs mission. The CFO is responsible for all financial systems and functions, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. They will also oversee the Foundations investments through a strong administrative infrastructure. Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience in a not-for-profit, charitable organization, or health authority. Strong collaborative and relational skills, with the ability to develop and communicate a compelling vision. Proven ability to inspire confidence and advance strategic initiatives. Experience in change management and execution. University Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field. Chartered Professional Accountant designation preferred.
