Our client is hiring a General Manager to lead and scale a growing Service Division for a Canada-wide industrial solutions provider. This is a direct hire, full-time opportunity for a results-driven leader with a sharp focus on profitability, operational excellence, and strategic growth. What Youll Do: Leadership & Strategic Growth Develop and execute aggressive growth strategies to scale and optimize the Service Division in line with company goals. Own full P&L responsibility, focusing on achieving and surpassing revenue and profitability targets. Lead and restructure the service team to ensure top performance, aligning talent with business objectives. Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentorship, and results-driven leadership. Operational Excellence Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective service delivery. Track and exceed KPIs including productivity, on-time delivery, and service profitability. Leverage data to drive continuous improvement, streamline processes, and optimize resource allocation. Customer & Business Development Drive customer satisfaction and retention by delivering value and maintaining a competitive edge. Actively engage with clients and stakeholders to identify new opportunities and grow market share. Work with business development teams to expand service offerings and develop new revenue channels. Compliance & Administration Ensure full compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and industry regulations. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and operational reports aligned with financial goals. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth operations and maximize efficiency across departments. What You Bring: Diploma in a related field with 912 years of experience in service operations. Proven track record in driving profitability and efficiency in fast-paced environments. Strong background in industrial or technical services (e.g., pumps, rotating equipment). Skilled in team leadership, P&L management, and strategic growth execution. Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and results-oriented with excellent communication skills.
