Role Title: Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis Our Client: (PE backed) operates long term care and retirement care communities in two Canadian provinces. *Please note that this role requires at least two days a week in the Peterborough office. Responsibilities: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning Prepare financial reports and variance analysis for senior management Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies Analyze cost structures and suggest efficiency improvements Evaluate revenue streams and market trends Assess investment opportunities and capital expenditures Develop complex financial models for planning and projections Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed Qualifications: Accounting designation or in progress Minimum 3 years experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling Solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards Effective communicator with ability to present to non-financial audiences Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Able to work independently and in teams
