What are they going to accomplish on a high level? - Client Focus: Manage end-to-end payroll for diverse client portfolio (including small, mid and upmarket clients) in various industries. - They have seen a spike in the growth of clients, and as a result, this team has been growing over the last few years. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: - End-to-end Payroll processing - Audit, reconciliations etc. - Collect and validate client data - Process payrolls and generate reports - Address client queries related to payroll - Client Relationship Management: - Maintain and update client''s payroll schedule - Communicate any changes or updates to the clients - Year-End Processing: - Filing clients T4 and RL-1 at the end of year - Quarterly balancing - ensuring reporting is correct for T4, RL-1 - Ensure accurate reconciliation and insurance of tax forms - Internal Collaboration: - Working with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes Must-haves/key skills needed: - 3-5 years Canadian Payroll Experience - Payroll systems and data entry - payroll audits and approvals - Familiarity with CRA and other Canadian Governments - Ability to conduct reconciliations and resolve discrepancies - Bilingual (French and English) - Communication/ Customer Service skills- written and verbal - Certifications: NPI Courses completed and PCP Certification (preferably completed if not at least halfway through) - Client Management - Able to research and look up information on their own (Gritty) Pay range: $55000-$65000/year with Benefits
