Job Summary Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, Flight Operations, the Analyst supports FP&A by managing month-end fuel data, analyzing flight operations costs, and preparing related journal entries. The role includes fuel consumption forecasting, vendor coordination, capital expenditure reconciliation, and contributing to Finance Modernization projects. The Analyst works closely with FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, and Flight Ops teams and participates in the Companys Safety Management System (SMS). Duties & Responsibilities Support month-end close by analyzing flight operations cost variances and preparing reclass entries. Assist end-to-end fuel reporting and planning, including analysis, forecasting, and vendor coordination. Contribute to Finance Modernization projects by ensuring efficient process setup and implementation. Reconcile capital expenditure (Capex) requests, close out projects, and assist with reforecasting. Document and maintain processes to support Finance and Flight Operations. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and support FP&A and Flight Ops teams as needed. Participate in Porters Safety Management System (SMS) by reporting hazards and promoting safety compliance. Qualifications Pursuing a bachelors or post-graduate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field. Strong ability and curiosity for self-learning and adapting to new software and processes. Proactive mindset with a willingness to drive change and improve processes for greater efficiency. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software, or ERP systems is an asset.
