Our client is a well-established and respected mid-sized general contractor with a strong presence in Hamilton and the Greater Toronto Area. With a diverse portfolio of building construction projects and a reputation for quality, collaboration, and integrity, they are seeking a Senior Construction Estimator to join their growing team.About the Role:As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction process, leading the preparation of accurate and competitive estimates for ICI and multi-residential building projects. Youll collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery from the ground up.Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates for building construction projects (ICI and residential)Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid packagesSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotesParticipate in pre-bid meetings and site visitsCollaborate with project teams to ensure seamless handoff from estimating to executionMaintain and update historical cost data and unit pricingQualifications:7+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in ICI or residential building sectorsStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesProficiency with estimating software (e.g., Timberline, PlanSwift, or similar)Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work full-time in-office in Hamilton, OntarioWhats in It for You:Join a collaborative and supportive team environmentWork on exciting and diverse projects across Hamilton and the GTACompetitive compensation $120,000 to $150,000 and benefits package
