Sales Manager Level A Professional GroupLocation: Oshawa, ONPurpose of the RoleAs a Sales Manager at Level A, you'll lead the charge in acquiring and developing client accounts, recruiting qualified candidates, and supervising external staff performance. Youll have full authority to hire, coach, manage, and-when needed-discipline staff. Your goal: deliver top-tier staffing solutions that drive results for clients while contributing to our mission of supporting Indigenous communities and economic development.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentSet and execute sales plans aligned with company targets.Source and convert leads through networking, referrals, and outreach.Present staffing and HR solutions to decision-makers across industries.Create proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals while maintaining profit margins.Track pipeline activity and update CRM and reporting tools.Attend local business events and represent Level A professionally.Client Account ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for active clients.Maintain accurate, confidential client records.Take detailed job orders and oversee the recruitment process.Conduct post-placement follow-ups and resolve service issues promptly.Coordinate client-specific onboarding, safety orientations, and site tours.Deliver ongoing, proactive supportincluding on-site visits and client check-ins.Recruitment & StaffingWrite and post job ads, screen applicants, and conduct interviews.Administer assessments and verify references.Match qualified candidates with open roles based on fit and requirements.Train and onboard external staff, ensuring job readiness and safety compliance.Monitor availability lists and maintain up-to-date employee databases.Employee SupervisionLead and support a diverse external workforce across multiple sites.Track attendance, coach for performance, and enforce policies.Address barriers to success and implement corrective action plans.Manage workplace incidents, WSIB claims, and performance-related investigations.Operations & AdminRespond to incoming calls, emails, and walk-ins professionally.Maintain digital and physical files for staff, clients, and contracts.Collaborate with internal teams to prepare reports, payroll data, and compliance documentation.Keep the office organized, stocked, and running smoothly.Support health and safety initiatives and report concerns as needed.What You BringProven experience in sales, recruitment, or account managementStrong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesComfort working independently and managing competing prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platformsSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build rapport with clients, candidates, and internal teamsFlexibility to work outside regular hours as neededValid G2 (or higher) license and reliable daily access to a vehicleProfessional appearance and commitment to customer service excellenceWhats in It for YouCompetitive Compensation: $60,000 base + up to 15% commission on permanent placementsCareer Growth: Direct impact on business development, with room to grow in a mission-driven companyCommunity Impact: Join an Indigenous-led organization thats making a difference by offering a hand-up to people and communitiesDynamic Work: No two days are the sameengage with clients, coach staff, and grow business in a high-impact, fast-paced settingCompensation: Base Salary $60,000 + Commission (up to $20K+ annually)Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (plus on-call/client support as needed)
