Our client is a well-established and respected mid-sized general contractor with a strong presence in Hamilton and the Greater Toronto Area. With a diverse portfolio of building construction projects and a reputation for quality, collaboration, and integrity, they are seeking a Senior Construction Estimator to join their growing team. About the Role: As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction process, leading the preparation of accurate and competitive estimates for ICI and multi-residential building projects. Youll collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery from the ground up. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for building construction projects (ICI and residential) Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid packages Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless handoff from estimating to execution Maintain and update historical cost data and unit pricing Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in ICI or residential building sectors Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Timberline, PlanSwift, or similar) Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work full-time in-office in Hamilton, Ontario Whats in It for You: Join a collaborative and supportive team environment Work on exciting and diverse projects across Hamilton and the GTA Competitive compensation $120,000 to $150,000 and benefits package
