Job Title: Paralegal - Commercial LendingLocation: Vancouver, BCJob Type: Full-TimeAbout the Opportunity:Our client is a well-established law firm offering a full range of business, litigation, and dispute resolution services across Canada and internationally. They are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Intermediate Commercial Lending Paralegal to join their team in Vancouver. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.Key Responsibilities:Receive and interpret instructions from lendersLiaise with borrowers and lenders to obtain required authorizations and informationConduct and review due diligence searches, including PPR and corporate recordsDraft, revise, and review standard and non-standard security documentationCoordinate execution of documents and ensure proper witnessing and completionCommunicate with borrower’s solicitor and forward necessary documentationReview executed documents for compliance and completenessCoordinate fund disbursement with lenders and accounting teamFile security documents at appropriate registriesPrepare final reporting letters and closing bindersPerform post-registration searchesMaintain accurate file management and document controlPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Paralegal programMinimum of 8 years’ experience as a Commercial Lending ParalegalStrong understanding of the Personal Property Security Act and PPR filingsProficiency in Microsoft Word and OutlookExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and confidentialityStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentCompensation & Benefits:Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000Comprehensive health and dental coverageEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)RRSP matching program (after one year of employment)Paid time off: 3 weeks’ vacation to start, plus personal days, sick time, and a volunteer dayLifestyle benefit for fitness and wellness expensesEducation reimbursement programVibrant Social ProgramsAbout Arlyn Recruiting and How to Apply:Arlyn Recruiting collaborates with leading law firms across Canada to help candidates secure opportunities aligned with their education, skills, and career ambitions.
