From harvesting and packaging to monitoring misting cycles and helping with installations, your work will help power the next generation of sustainable food systems.Youll primarily work from our Surrey HQ (~4 days/week), with ~1 day/week in Abbotsford supporting a partner site. This is an ideal role for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and excited to be part of a fast-moving, hands-on team.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain SkyAcres’ modular vertical farming systemsHarvest, weigh, and package produce with care and precisionMonitor misting cycles, water levels, lighting schedules, and plant healthFollow cleanliness and food safety protocolsAssist with installations, experimental trials, and minor system troubleshootingPrepare and organize produce for deliveryQualificationsValid driver’s license and ability to travel between Surrey and AbbotsfordComfortable with hands-on work in indoor lab and warehouse environmentsStrong attention to detail and task follow-throughExperience in food handling, horticulture, or general labor is an assetMust be under 30 and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (funding requirement)PerksFull training provided — no prior vertical farming experience requiredMileage reimbursement for travelWork closely with engineers, biologists, and system designersOpportunities for long-term growth within operations, R&D, or leadershipSide Project OpportunitiesAt SkyAcres, we believe in unlocking your full potential — not just in your core role, but beyond it.
