Construction Project Manager Full Time, Permanent Alberta, Edmonton, Remote Edmonton, AB (priority Edmonton in-office, but remote options available) Are you passionate about mass timber construction and eager to work on innovative and complex projects across North America? We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mass Timber Project Manager to join the team and help bring groundbreaking projects to life. Driving the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Overseeing all facets of project execution, including design, procurement, fabrication, shipping, and installation, to achieve optimal quality, cost, and schedule outcomes. Continuously monitoring project progress to ensure alignment with objectives. Leveraging deep knowledge of mass timber materials, construction methods, and building codes to provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Reviewing project drawings, contracts, specifications, and engineering documents to ensure compliance and maximize performance. Managing personnel, equipment, and material resources effectively to meet project milestones and stakeholder expectations. Identifying resource needs, delegating tasks, and proactively monitoring progress to maintain efficiency and performance. Overseeing and tracking all financial aspects of the project, including procurement, forecasting, cash flow management, and project billing. Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize disruptions and ensure success. Acting as the primary liaison for clients, architects, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. Building strong relationships through trust, transparency, and effective communication while addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly. Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in engineering, construction management, architecture, manufacturing, or a related field. ~5+ years of project management experience in the construction industry, ideally focusing on mass timber or wood-framed structures. ~ Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating clear, concise, and engaging content. ~ Proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving expertise. ~ Preferably, a solid understanding of mass timber materials, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques. ~ Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously. ~ Proficient in MS Teams and the Microsoft Office suite. ~ Knowledge of CAD and relevant certifications, such as PMP, are considered assets.
