Atlantic Windows is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation skills to optimize purchasing strategies and maintain quality standards while controlling costs. Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company''s goals and objectives. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, buying, and vendor management. Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality materials. Collaborate with internal teams to understand material requirements for production and fabrication needs. Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information in SAP or similar systems. Analyze market trends to identify potential new suppliers or cost-saving opportunities. Experience Proven experience in supply chain management or purchasing roles is essential. Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, vendor management, and negotiation techniques. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and softwares is highly desirable. Ability to analyze data related to pricing, supply chain efficiency, and vendor performance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
