Job Title: Chartered Accountant Location: In-office (5 days per week) Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 Job Description Benson Mortgages is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant who has completed their certification to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting our mortgage services. Responsibilities - Prepare and review financial statements and reports - Manage bookkeeping and accounting processes - Monitor financial transactions, audit for accuracyand rectification of errors - Assist with budgeting and financial planning - Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards - Collaborate with mortgage and loan departments to support financial activities - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management - Reporting to Senior Financial Controller Qualifications - Certified Chartered Accountant (CPA) or equivalent with completed certification(mandatory) - Proven experience in finance, accounting, or related fields (mortgage experience is a plus) - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Additional Information - Immediate start available - In-office position; no remote work option - Credit report and police clearance are required To Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume/cover letter highlighting their relevant experience to HR Department leads@bensonmortgages.ca
