POSITION DESCRIPTION PROCUREMENT ANALYST (12-month contract) POSITION OVERVIEW Reports to: Manager, Supply Chain Enablement Location: We welcome diverse applicants from across Canada who would be a great fit for our culture at Eldorado. While we''''re open to remote team members, we also have a headquarters in Vancouver for those based locally. POSITION SUMMARY The Procurement Analyst supports the supply chain function by providing analytical expertise to improve procurement performance and support strategic decision-making. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to procurement activities across the companys gold mining operations. Key responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance, analyzing spending patterns, evaluating sourcing opportunities, and supporting cost reduction initiatives. The Procurement Analyst works closely with procurement, operations, finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure procurement strategies are data-driven, cost-effective, and aligned with the companys operational and sustainability objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Developing and maintaining/automating procurement reports, dashboards, and KPIs for internal stakeholders. Analyzing large datasets related to purchasing, supplier performance, contract compliance, and spend categories. Supporting strategic sourcing initiatives by conducting market research and supplier evaluations. Supporting the implementation of Global projects, liaising with corporate and site teams. Assisting in the development and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, and documentation. Assisting in drafting and the preparation of Requests for Information (RFIs), Proposals (RFPs), and Quotations (RFQs). Monitoring procurement transactions to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies. Assisting in supplier segmentation, risk assessments, and contract lifecycle analysis. Supporting the review and upkeep of procurement master data and ensuring inventory system configurations align with global standards. Managing data collection efforts for sustainability and supplier risk assessments initiatives. Proven proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python). Basic understanding of procurement processes and contract terminology. Experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP or Ariba, would be considered an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Word with some experience in document control systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills to translate complex data into clear insights. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Additional language capabilities in French, Turkish or Greek considered an asset. Limited travel to site but may occasionally be required. The salary range for this position is $72,000 to $99,000. The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidates relevant experience, skills, and competencies, taking into consideration internal equity. Qualified candidates with the required qualifications and relevant experience can expect an offer around the midpoint of the range. Progression toward the higher end of the range is based on higher qualifications and experience or demonstrated performance in the role.
