Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Extruding Machine Setup and Operator, located in Toronto, ON. The Extruding Machine Setup and Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating extruding machines to produce plastic products according to specifications. Daily tasks include monitoring machine performance, making necessary adjustments, conducting quality checks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring optimal production efficiency. The operator will also troubleshoot issues, record operational data, and comply with safety regulations and standard operating procedures. Qualifications * MUST HAVE Experience with setting up and operating extruding machines Technical skills in machine maintenance and troubleshooting Understanding of quality control procedures and quality assurance Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Adherence to safety regulations and standard operating procedures High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is an asset Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
