We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our academic team. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in our programs operations and curriculum development.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the programs subject matter expertSupport the Program Chair/Coordinator in daily operationsEnsure curriculum alignment with university standards and UAE Ministry of Higher Education requirementsEngage in teaching, research, development, and community outreach activitiesParticipate in administrative duties and community serviceTeaching and Academic Duties:Instruct graduate and undergraduate courses in the relevant fieldMaintain accurate student records and submit timely gradesDeliver and update course syllabiAssist in curriculum evaluation and suggest improvementsHold regular office hours and support student learningAdvise students, particularly those at academic riskRecommend learning resources and materialsContribute to new course developmentSupervise independent studiesStay current with disciplinary developments through research and professional engagementAdministrative and Community Engagement:Advise students during registration periodsAttend faculty and departmental meetingsParticipate in orientation and professional development workshopsEngage in community outreach activitiesSupport the Schools accreditation effortsRepresent the Canadian University Dubai in professional settingsThe ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence, student success, and institutional growth.Qualification & Experience:The minimum amount of education and experience that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties of the position are as follows:Ph.D. in Accounting obtained from top 500 QS-ranked universities, preferably western accredited universities. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness and research publications in highly ranked Scopus journals.
