Our client delivers innovative architectural solutions across the manufacturing, commercial, residential, and industrial construction markets.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for contracts across Canada, with potential to expand into the US.Predominantly work on generating sales leads, developing relationships with key stakeholders, as well as bidding on projects.Involves working with clients conceptualizing, planning, and preparing estimations and creative design proposals for presentation.Work with the executive team in finding new opportunities that align with the corporate strategy, identify sales leads, and maintain relationships with current and new contacts.Will be provided with support to obtain new leads and drive new sales.Be innovative, creative and a team player who can lead by example in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and has strong technical knowledge.Detail oriented and can confidently support production, installation, and client inquiries as needed.Work closely with the Engineering, Estimating and Sales departments.Generating sales leadsPrepare pricing estimates for projects and submit written proposals to clientsAttend industry shows, conferences, events etc.Participates in various departmental and interdepartmental meeting or training as requiredPre-qualify potential clients with appropriate questions to establish budget, timelines, and compatibility, prepare quotations and site installation meetingsManage clients expectations by informing them of company processes, policies, and timelinesUpdate clients of business changes such as product offering, pricing, or assemblyQUALIFICATIONS:Must have 5+ years of experience in the construction/building materials industry, preferably within aluminum railings & extrusions sectorsAbility to read architectural drawings and specificationsExcellent written and oral communication skills requiredReliability, integrity, passion and in-person presentation skills with a strong ability to establish relationships and close dealsExceptional, industry leading, customer service skills with a proven strength in exceeding client expectations and an ability to identify best product and fit for client needsExcellent planning, coordination, and scheduling skills
