Purpose of RoleReporting to the National Accounts Manager, the successful candidate for this position will be responsible for a well-established existing customer base, while supporting leads, preparation of quotations and closing sales through various communication channels. The goal is to meet or exceed sales targets while providing exceptional customer service for our customers.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo succeed in this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a competent level. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular follow-ups and communication.Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly within 24hrs.Identify further account penetration, up selling and bundling opportunities to target sales growth.Anticipate customer needs and provide tailored engineered solutions.Maintain up-to-date information for customer contact, leads and quotes via CRM and Help Software tools.Travel to the USA or international destinations may be required for training and/or conferences but not expected regularly. A valid passport is required.Prospecting and Lead Generation: Support to identify and target potential customers through web leads, CRM data and outside sales staff.Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, and online research.Qualify leads to determine their potential as customers with outside sales staff.Sales Support: Prepare professional quotations, submittals and sales proposals for plan and spec projects, and for design build projects, in a clear, quick, and concise manner using the Condair HELP tool.Assist House Account team in quoting products in plan and spec and design build projects.Answer all inquiries related to application, pricing, delivery, and technical information.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software.Kuul media sales will be the candidates primary responsibility.Product Knowledge:Maintain a high level of product knowledge and serve as added value to our customer base and distinguish Condair products from our competitors. Understand our positioning and products versus the competition.Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends.Collaboration: Collaborate with Evaporative Technologies team, Product Management, Operations, Engineering, Customer Service and Technical Service on product enhancement, service offerings and process improvement ideas to align and exceed customer expectations.Sales Budget and KPI Achievement:Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and quotas.Execute sales strategies to achieve goals.Annual KPI targets are provided to align company strategies and values.Adhere to the companys Quality Assurance System and Health and Safety policies.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Professional Skills, Qualifications, and CompetenciesEducation and Experience: College or Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or HVAC Design Technician required. Two (2) to five (5) years experience in the HVAC industry with a proven record in technical sales, new and existing account development and customer follow-up skills is required.Language Skills: Fluent in English (reading, writing, spoken) required. Bilingual (French) would be an asset. Can communicate clearly and professionally in writing, in person and over the phone; use language appropriately in variable situations. Demonstrates ability to communicate technically, in writing and verbally.Ability to Reason: Strong planning, training, and organizational skills are required. The ability to prioritize tasks, set targets, and make decisions is necessary. Ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure and deadlines and troubleshoot problems is a must. Ability to see and make decisions based on the big picture. Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables.Computer Skills: Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite of products. Microsoft CRM 365 and SAP operating system is an asset.Certificates/Licenses: A valid and up to date passport, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally is required.Other: Above-average written communication and editing skills are essential. Ability to present in a group setting and develop training programs.
