eTracks Tire Management Systems is currently recruiting for the position of Communications & Marketing Lead.Mandate of the RoleReporting to the Vice President, Communications & Sustainability, the Communications and Marketing Lead will help build and ingrain brand recognition, raise event and key initiative awareness, execute exceptional communications initiatives while driving change management projects, maintain positive customer and stakeholder relations, and drive participation both internally and externally in various eTracks initiatives to support the approved annual objectives and strategic communications plan.How the Mandate will be FulfilledThis role is an excellent opportunity for a Communications Professional who has an affinity for detail and nuance, exceptional written and verbal English skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization. You will also have the ability to work calmly, strategically and efficiently within complex and sometimes challenging situations, all while maintaining deadlines and a creative solutions-oriented approach.You will lead, co-create, ideate, implement, and deliver compelling change communications and marketing strategy and tactics to effectively articulate and promote eTracks through various mediums, (e.g. print, online, social media, presentations, events, sponsorship, etc.) and to various stakeholders (tire manufacturers, OEMs, supply chain stakeholders and within the broader tire recycling and circular economy industry).You will be comfortable collaborating with others and advising/receiving subject matter expert inputs (as needed), at all levels of the organization, from front-line staff to senior leadership and ensuring that corporate objectives and goals are supported.You will also implement the annual Communications and Marketing Plan and support new product development and/or promotions.You will assess and assimilate relevant information efficiently, to execute communications and marketing solutions that elevate and entrench eTracks’ brand within the industry and beyond.Core Qualifications, Education, and Experience: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.Member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) preferred.6-8 years’ experience in Communications roles demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and achievement.Change management certificationMedia & Public Relations experience.Demonstrated examples of experience in developing reports and presentations for internal, external and/or public facing use.Digital portfolio of your own written work and communications campaign examples.Proven experience in change management expertise involving both internal and external stakeholders, partners and agencies.Exceptional English writing/editing skills, including proofreading, conceptualizing, eye for detail, succinct and clear flow, and theme development.Working knowledge and ability to produce creative briefs for complex design projects, and to create various graphics for digital and print.Proficient in Adobe Express, CANVA and/or other design applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to produce posters, handouts, presentation and/or advertising graphics.Comprehensive understanding of Communications’ best practices, techniques, and related technologies, and demonstrated interest in keeping up with the evolving field of Communications.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), project management tools, email automation (Mailchimp), website and content management systems (WordPress) and Google Analytics required.Experience in managing budgets and vendors.Collaborative team player, able to work independently and on a team as needed.Passion for recycling, sustainability, and circular economy topics.Working knowledge of government relations and its role and impact on regulated industries.Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (required).Essential Attributes for SuccessCommunication and MarketingYou’ll be able to engage with various key stakeholders, such as: eTracks staff and the leadership team, tire producers (manufacturers and auto-makers), tire collection sites (tire shops, car dealerships), used tire hauling companies and used tire processing plants.You’ll be able to work calmly, thoughtfully and productively within an expanding and contracting business and industry, pivoting as needed, knowing when to stay the course;
