Your tasks Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, policies and procedures Promote and support safety and quality programs as an active member of the Leadership Group Uphold safety reporting standards and drive continuous improvements in workplace safety Maintain and implement lockout/tagout procedures daily, ensuring completion of safe work permits and required documentation before commencing any work Coordinate routine maintenance and emergency repairs across plant buildings and grounds. Liaise with external contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely, high quality work Assist with project planning and facility upgrades. Respond to internal service requests and manage work order tracking through CMMS. Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address safety hazards or maintenance needs. Coordinate seasonal and weather-related preparations (e.g., snow removal, HVAC transitions). All other job duties assigned by management. Your profile Ontario Secondary School graduation diploma Post-secondary education in facilities management, engineering technology, building operations, or related field. 2-4 years experience in facility coordination or industrial maintenance support. Good skills in SAP and Microsoft Office Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, fire systems, plumbing) Detail-oriented and able to work in a team environment as well as independently Ability to recognize process improvement opportunities Confident, collaborative personality Helpful and reliable work ethic to support a team-based environment Your future Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Facility Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, grounds and mobile equipment at the site. He/she will play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and highly functional environment for our employees and equipment. This role involves coordinating preventative maintenance, overseeing contractors, and supporting daily operational needs across our facility.
