The role includes coordinating care, support, and appointments/services, maintaining regular contact with families and case managers/service coordinators, and providing ongoing progress reports, service documentation, data collection, analysis, and healthcare/medication documentation. The individual in this role acts as an advocate for supported individuals and communicates routinely with families, healthcare professionals, and other supports. They provide direction, oversight, training, and feedback to staff supporting individuals according to the treatment/support plans. Qualifications At least two years of supervisory or management experience in developmental disabilities services or mental health setting. Bachelors degree in a Human Services field (e.g., healthcare, social services, education, behavioral science, counseling). Five years of experience in developmental disabilities or mental health, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Good driving record; proof of current driver''s license and insurance required. Ability to serve as an appropriate role model, demonstrating mature behavior and sound decision-making. Working knowledge of federal and state regulations for facilities and programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Ability to speak to groups of staff, articulate clearly, and demonstrate enthusiasm toward staff and individuals supported.
