We are looking for a Buyer for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.Hybrid schedule, at least 4 days in the office. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role.Role DescriptionThe ideal candidate will report to the Team Leader and will provide day-to-day material buying support to Lloydminster Upstream Operations, Maintenance, and Turnaround teams.ResponsibilitiesExecute and manage computerized material ordering and scheduling, fulfilling all material requirements (stock replenishment & work order demand). Execute urgent material requests from business unit.Create & Maintain RFQ's to obtain price & delivery information from suppliers for non-contract materials. Ensure best value in terms of price, delivery, product quality, etc.Manage repairable material lifecycle.Maintain Source Lists in SAP to support streamlined MRP ordering processWork with SSC to address price discrepancies, PO confirmations, GR/IR imbalancesWork with Inventory Technician to ensure prompt and accurate execution of MRP Collective List (Planned Order to Purchase Requisition conversion)Work with Warehouse staff to ensure timely goods receipt of materials to meet requirements date and support internal KPI's (OTIF)Deliver training as required to maintenance planners to ensure understanding of the integration points between PM and MRPRequired Skills and ExperiencePost Secondary Certificate/DiplomaMinimum of two years Purchasing experienceSupply Chain Management certification is an assetExperience in SAP MM (Materials Management) is an assetKnowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P) lifecycle is an assetPlease note that while all applications are appreciated, only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.InSync Systems Inc. is a privately-owned boutique Canadian Resourcing and Consulting Services Company that works closely with a range of corporate clients across multiple industries to bring them solutions that effectively address their business needs.
