Maintenance Technician Role Execute a preventative maintenance program, troubleshoot and identify problematic equipment to develop solutions for safe and efficient repair of plant machinery. Maintain the safety and reliability of equipment to achieve optimal production efficiency and minimize downtime. Responsibilities: Conduct regular mechanical and preventative maintenance on plant equipment. Perform troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance tasks. Develop and update preventative maintenance programs. Participate in water treatment programs involving high pressure steam equipment. Evaluate and implement effective HACCP and GMP practices. Enhance machine and equipment safety by following relevant precautions. Prepare accurate maintenance reports according to company and regulatory standards. Ensure cleanliness and organization of production areas and maintenance shops. Forecast and order parts requirements proactively. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience in maintenance roles, preferably in manufacturing or production environments. Familiarity with electrical and pneumatic equipment. Able to work extended hours including evenings and weekends as required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Millwright or Electricians certification.
