Human Resources Internship Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our People Team as a Human Resources Intern. This exciting role will provide the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment support, HR administration, and onboarding processes. Responsibilities: Recruitment Support: Provide assistance with phone screens, reference checks, interview coordination, and scheduling drug and alcohol pre-access testing Post requisitions for vacant positions in the applicant tracking system and send mobilization email information to new candidates Collect relevant training tickets and qualifications for candidates and update internal recruitment tools Coordination of Onboarding Process: Generate and issue offer letters, track offer acceptance, and follow up as required Maintain a tracking spreadsheet for new hires, re-hires, transfers, and demobilizations Communicate first-day start logistics to new hires, rehires, and transfers and organize all details of the orientation HR Administration Support: Initiate change of engagement forms, demobilization forms, etc., as necessary for employees and contractors Perform HRIS audits and verification of data integrity of all HRIS entries Issue employment verification letters and generate and communicate employment-related documents for new hires, transfers, and rehires Qualifications: Must be a current student available for a 2-3 month work term (40 hours per week) Working towards a certificate, diploma, or degree accreditation in Human Resources is preferred General knowledge of Human Resources functions and programs is an asset Competency in MS Office suite of tools, primarily Word, Outlook, and Excel Our Company: We strive to be an industry leader in health, safety, and environmental performance.
