Job Description: This role is part of the Sharing Canadian Expertise for Inclusive Development and Gender Equality (SHARE) project, which aims to improve the economic and social well-being of marginalized groups in developing countries. We are seeking an Environmental Education and Training Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of this project. About the Project: The SHARE project is a seven-year initiative that seeks to address the root causes of poverty and inequality by promoting inclusive and sustainable development practices. Our partner, the Mesa de ONG''s Comanejadoras de Areas Protegidas de Honduras, performs a variety of actions and activities to improve the management of protected areas in Honduras. Key Responsibilities: Design training methodologies to enhance the skills and knowledge of local communities. Advise and support organizational leadership and community engagement initiatives. Monitor and report on progress, including training and capacity-building efforts. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A university degree in Education, Natural Resources, or Environmental Studies. Knowledge and experience in education, training, and planning processes. Previous experience in planning, administration, and strategy design. Demonstrated experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
