Job Title

Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician will ensure the general upkeep of the buildings and provide customer service to tenants. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the main responsibilities are: Respond to customer service calls; Perform various routine maintenance tasks; Perform daily maintenance tasks to keep the buildings common areas, both interior and exterior, clean at all times (including but not limited to snow removal, garbage and graffiti removal, window and floor cleaning, landscaping, etc.); Ensure the proper functioning of building equipment and immediately report any malfunctions and/or incidents (ventilation, elevators, toilets, etc.); Be mindful of the buildings energy performance; All other related tasks. SCHEDULE & CONDITIONS Flexible, weekday daytime (Between 6:00 AM & 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM) 40 hours per week 3 weeks of vacation; Benefits program 60% paid by the employer (Dental, Medical, Disability, Telemedicine, etc.); Company cell phone & vehicle provided; Employee stock purchase plan at a preferential rate. 5 sick days REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Versatile, resourceful, autonomous, sociable, and reliable; Ability to communicate warmly with people and respond quickly to customer needs; Ability to prioritize while meeting deadlines; Ability to identify issues and solve them; Ability to clearly and accurately describe a situation; Good physical condition and ability to work alone. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position; Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written; Valid drivers license (essential); Diploma of Vocational Studies in building maintenance (an asset).
