Description The Associate Marketing Manager works closely with our clients and Costco to manage the planning and execution of in-store demo programs. This includes liaising with our third-party demo vendor and managing a multimillion-dollar budget. The Associate Marketing Manager develops and manages timelines, keeps stakeholders informed of critical dates, schedules meetings as needed, and reports on demo activity. Responsibilities Account Services Serves as the primary day-to-day contact for any matter related to demo activity at Costco. Develops, nurtures, and maintains client and Costco relationships. Initiates regular client status meetings for ongoing projects and anticipates upcoming projects. Attends marketing/client meetings. Writes meeting recaps and issues within 24 hours. Assists VP/ RM with coordination of key customer presentations, including market research studies. Program Planning and Development Ensures program solutions fulfill client and Costco goals and brand standards. Communicates program expectations effectively to team members and stakeholders. Collaborates with Business Managers to develop marketing strategies supporting program implementation at Costco. Creates and manages timelines/due dates to ensure project on-track execution. Supports clients in generating new ideas and strategic concepts for platforms and retail promotions. Program Execution & Implementation Interacts with the clients team to ensure proper information flow. Works with the client on product allocation within specified timeframes. Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the program. Manages dependencies and critical paths. Supports scope changes, identifies crises, and devises contingency plans. Analyzes execution reports to ensure adherence to client and Costco expectations. Financial Responsibilities Assists in managing overall account success, including critical deadline communication. Completes vendor commitment forms. Qualifications Minimum Education and Work Experience Bachelor''s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience. 2-3 years of experience in the Club Industry. Research/analysis experience is a plus. Customer service experience in the Club Industry is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to handle multiple projects. Strong organizational and communication skills. Team player with a positive attitude. Self-starter with analytical problem-solving skills. Effective communicator with upper management, clients, and Costco. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint). Willingness to work outside normal hours. Ability to build and grow relationships with Costco and clients. Follow-up skills on discussions, issues, and projects. Physical Requirements Seeing, color perception, lifting (25 lbs), climbing, listening, pushing/pulling, carrying (25 lbs). Travel up to 25%.
