THE ROLE SALES REPRESENTATIVE The sales representative will use the guidelines provided by the companys sales playbook to initiate, track, nurture and eventually help to convert leads from various networks. The sales representative will actively solicit cold and warm leads through a variety of networks. They will proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media, and field prospecting. They will build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales targets. They will be working under the Business Development Manager and in collaboration with our Estimators and marketing coordinator and executive team to ensure a cohesive team effort to pursue the ideal clientele. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in a sales related position within the ICI sector of the construction industry in Ontario, Canada. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their own professional network along with amplifying our own network to help generate new leads and convert to sales. The ideal candidate must also be able to demonstrate the ability to utilize a CRM. Demonstrates excellent verbal, written and technical communication with all project stakeholders. Develops strong relationships with new/existing networks. Works collaboratively with A&D Community to better understand their needs and goes out of the way to deliver on commitments made. Monitor sales trends and actively take part in promotional campaigns to generate interest and secure orders. Keep up to date on competitor progress and be alert to competitor activities and changes in market trends. Secure and foster the inclusion of Fortitude in prospective tenders and or groups of projects. Sales experience within the design-oriented or construction-related industry, calling on the Architect, Interior Designer, Commercial Real Estate community. MS Office Suite and web inquiries computer skills. This is role is open to the following options: sales commissions.
